Roofers in Worthing for the Regency and Victorian terraces near the seafront, the streets of Heene and Broadwater, and the bungalows and semis of Goring and Durrington. Ring 01273 110448 for a free written quote.
Worthing has two very different sets of roofs. Near the seafront and the pier, and through Heene and Broadwater, the terraces and villas are Regency, Victorian and Edwardian, mostly slate, with tall chimneys and lead valleys. West to Goring-by-Sea and north to Durrington and Findon Valley, the town is inter-war and post-war bungalows and semis in concrete and clay tile.
On the older roofs, it is slipped slates, split lead and stacks that need repointing. On the bungalows and semis, it is the same story as every inter-war roof on this coast: felt that has perished, tiles slipping, and ridge mortar cracked by the wind off the sea.
Old Tarring, inland, keeps its village core of flint cottages and clay tile, where repairs mean matching tiles by hand.
Worthing is about 12 miles west of our Brighton base along the coast. We cover the town from East Worthing to Goring-by-Sea and up through Broadwater, Tarring and Durrington to Findon Valley.
Slate repairs near the seafront, perished felt on Goring bungalows and wind-cracked ridges right along the coast: our roof repairs in Worthing page covers the faults and the prices.
Inter-war bungalows and semis in Goring and Durrington are ideal for a new roof with dry fix ridges and a 25-year guarantee. Rear extensions get a new flat roof. Our new roof cost guide has the budgets.
